i live amongst books and the refuse of a life too busy to clean up after itself. where i walk, my feet catch on the detrius of mistakes and failures and Things Gone Wrong. I am a strong man, in my way, a wise man when i'm not trying for it, a good man when my own interests are nowhere to be seen, but most of all i am a shaped man, build from the aforementioned garbage. no man of substance is anything but, and while i find the idea comforting, i take no pleasure in the process. i have fallen apart more times than i care to count or enumerate, and put myself back together in new ways, like the rubiks cube you took the stickers off to beat when you were 12.

i promise nothing, becuase even if i knew anything with enough certainty to do so, i've got no faith in the world's fidelity to that promise. i don't believe in truth, as i refuse to believe that something is every only one single thing.

i do believe in flaws and i believe great things spring from low things. Sick Men make great poets. perfect men are hard to find, not because they don't exist, because they are un-extraordinary.
